I find it a little troublesome publishing posts in the most recent version of wordpress. Every time I switch between the visual and html editors my work goes crazy. I never had this problem with the older wordpress versions
I am looking forward to update my blog that has been running on 2.3 for sometime now (arghhh)
I am just getting lazy to do such upgrades.
Have you experience any performance increase with new 2.7?? I mean in terms of speed and loading time?
@ Navjot, Well I saw that option but it does not do automatic backup instead tell to back up manually. I am little cautious about it. By the way Thanks.

The automatic upgrade feature is soooooooooooo convenient.

I guess If we upgrade there will be no problem in with old plugins not working now.

Well, then use http://lesterchan.net/portfolio/programming/php/#wp-dbmanager plugin to get a db backup before upgrade.

Is there any way to upgrade automatically? Automatic WordPress Upgrade is not compatible with 2.7, I usually used it.

Inside WordPress 2.7, Visit Tools>Upgrade. WordPress 2.7 COmes with inbuilt Upgrader. You don’t need a plugin to perform AutoUpdate.

Does that also upgrades from WP 2.50 ? I’m not able to do that.

You won’t find automatic upgrade feature in 2.5 since it was introduced much later. You can do manual upgrade from 2.5 to 2.7.
