Though I have lost interest on how much NSpeaks is ranking at various places but yesterday I was answering somebody about Sitelinks and then I checked Google Webmasters Tools. I was surprised to see that NSpeaks has now 8 sitelinks. Here’s the screenshot:
Sitelinks is a feature where Google discovers some helpful links about the site and links to them directly under the site’s name in search results. Sitelinks are generated automatically and only for sites which are considered popular and authority sites by Google.
Kudos, so Google thinks finally NSpeaks is a Authority Site. Now need to write even better content.
[NOTE: Pagerank is also 4 now instead of 3…just a small update – nice addition.]
I have a personal blog but still I will want to have the sitelinks. I will take a lot of time as I have even changed domain names and had 404 errors.
Congrats to you. I have seen that many famous bloggers too do not have sitelinks.

Wow…that is really awesome. Could you explain a little more about pinging your sitemap to Google? I know Wordpress has a plugin that does this automatically but what if one doesn’t use Wordpress?
Congrats that your sitelinks eventually appear on Google. I’ve been wondering how to generate sitelinks and I couldn’t find the answers that satisfy me. I’d be very pleased if you would like to share some ideas with me (by email is welcomed). Thanks before.
Sorry to disappoint you but there is no trick as such for this. Not a single. Just keep writing good content and maintain proper navigation. These are the only two aspects. Link to your internal site pages properly and have a proper sitemap which should always be updated and pinged to Google. And have patience, if Google notices that you are writing good and has strong internal linking, it will automatically start picking sitelinks from your site. Just keep a check on Google Webmasters Dashboard to see when they get generated.

BTW I want to add that if these Sitelinks redirects to Pages like About, Contact, Archive etc., than it’s very useful. For you and me they are redirecting to Post Pages/Category
I think these are automated and will get fixed over time
Yeah, currently we have no control except blocking sitelinks. Well still its good atleast Google is recognising our blogs.
