This is my first wordpress theme release here at NSpeaks. I hope you like it. It is based on Independence Day theme by Sumanasa. Theme should have come around 15-16 August i.e. Independence Day of India. But I am sorry, I took more time than expected. Actually I was waiting for Wordpress 2.3 to release and to check whether the theme works with it or not. And to my surprise without any changes it worked with Wordpress 2.3 Beta 1. So should even work with Wordpress 2.3 final as well.
Features:
Wordpress Versions Supported: 2.1,2.2,2.3, Didn’t check for 2.0.x but should work in it too.
Download:

ChangeLog:
v1.1 - 31 August 2007 - Added Support for Wordpress 2.3 Tagging Feature.
v1.0 - 30 August 2007 - Initial version Released.
ScreenShot:
License: Released under GPL License. You are free to modify and use the theme for any purpose. You can remove the footer links if you want.
Buy Me Coffee: If you like my work please buy me a coffee so that it motivates me to make more themes.

Wow!! Very Nice looking..

It can still be used on 26th January…
Seriously… We don’t need 15 August or 26th January to show our love for country…
GOOD WORK.

That’s true Ashwin…that we don’t need these dates to show our love for Country. But still I wished I could have released it on 15 or 16 August.

Beautiful design. How adaptable is it? Can I easily change the color theme to straight red white and blue for example like the original independence day theme? The orange and green are a bit much for me.

I like this theme. Basic and functional. This theme is good for seo. Personally, I think we should place our unique logo on it so that it’ll be slightly different.
Nice theme, I’m going to use it in the future, thanks !

One reader mentioned that this theme is good for seo. Could someone please explain to me how a theme can be good for seo? This is something I would definitely like to know!
Thanks in advance.

Can you just tell me who’s flag that is flying in the image, I think I know but….wouldn’t want to upset a client!

I think the flag showing is representing India. It’s mentioned in the first paragraph. Someone correct me if I’m wrong here but it is called Independence Day and I think it was referring to India. No?

OK, as I thought, it is the Indian flag. Just being cautious! Thanks for checking.
