Earlier, I had a mention of list of Indian Social Bookmarking Sites. That list was complimented by many and received much appreciation. However, that was merely a list and that too disorganised. How to add all those sites on to your blog? Going to individual sites and fectching their codes is cumbersome. So here, I have done the needful. I am releasing Indian Sociable Wordpress Plugin by using which you can instantly add the most popular Indian Sociable Bookmarking Sites on to your blog.
This plugin is based on Joost’s Sociable Plugin(3.4 version and above) and requires it to be installed first to work.

Installation
- Get Sociable Plugin and install it first.
- Download Indian Sociable Plugin and Unzip the indian-sociable.zip file.
- Upload the the indian-sociable folder (not just the files in it!) to your wp-contents/plugins folder.
- In your WordPress administration, go to the Plugins page.
- Activate the Sociable and Indian Sociable plugin and visit Sociable in Options Menu.
- You will see the above included sites in Options. Checkmark and save them and they will appear on your blog.

Obviously that is a good work. But though I am Indian, I never cared about those Indian specific social bookmark sites

I wouldnt appreciate this plugin ,But there is no doubt ..Joost might have put in lots of efforts in bringing this to public.
I wish if he could have spent the same time in developing other plugins
Joost in his own blog mentioned that sociable can now be extended via a plugin. Moreover a year back, I already sought the permission for a Indian Sociable and he gave it…but I never got it to release since I had to hack original Sociable for it. But now since Joost is offering to extend his plugin, then why not?
