Download Google Chrome Browser – Offline Version

For those who have been hearing news about Google’s latest browser Chrome off and on, here is the news. Google’s Chrome Browser is finally available for download. And guess what, download is a crappy 475KB Online Installer which again downloads a 7.34MB file in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Update\Download directory. Go and check and get the file before the installer manages to delete it.

Or as a alternative, download the full 7.34MB Chrome browser from Rapidshare.

So is it any good? I never really got the hang of FF, so I’ve got high hopes for Googles new browser to finally wean me off IE!

Hugo: The browser is blazing fast for me. Maybe it depends on the processor you’re using?

Chrome is great, I can’t wait til Google starts taking user feedback with it. But will it beat out Firefox?

I really like the new homepage of Google Chrome. However I don’t think its ready until it has the same plugins firefox has.

This is pretty interesting. I’m glad to finally see Google getting in on the open source movement. I just wonder how much different this browser will be. Firefox, set up correctly, works amazing for me although lately I have had a few browser crashes.
