Many of us loved to use OneClick Wordpress Extension coupled with its firefox counterpart to install themes and plugins on our blogs in a single click. But with Firefox 3 release, it all stopped. Either you move to Firefox 2 or don’t use the plugin as its still not compatible with Firefox 3. And even after the developer promised to update extension within 24 hours 7 days ago, no hope is in sight.
But there is way to use extension in Firefox 3 too. Here’s how: Get this extension : MR Tech’s Toolkit. After installing this extension go to OneClick page and download the extension from there and on prompt to install just check the button saying: Override ‘maxversion’ compatibility checking. And now when you will install OneClick, firefox won’t say that its not compatible with it. Instead the extension will continue working as normal.

Are you sure it’s not compatible with Firefox 3 because I just uploaded a plugin with it today, using Firefox 3. Hmm…

I’ve had nothing but troubles with Firefox 3 since download. Most of my Blogger reading works find, but some of the WP blogs I follow are all snarky. I’m thinking of waiting a while for some bug fixes on FF 3 before trying it again. I’ll watch for blog posts that FF 3 is finally working right before moving forward.

I have several friends who use wordpress and firefox, so I’ll make sure to direct them to this post. I see a lot of great wordpress info here on your blog that I know they’ll enjoy reading about. Thanks for sharing.
