I just came across a new advertising platform named DClick Ads. A unique feature of it is that it offers all types of ads - ranging from banner advertisements, text link ads and even links embedded in content. Another unique thing I found about it that it allows everybody to view the list of publishers. Well according to me this is a advantage, since it shows who the publishers are, what type of sites are in their network and what they offer. Advertiser can get a basic idea about this even before registering as a advertiser.
But I faced certain problems which I would like to highlight about DClick Ads. First and foremost problem is of site navigation. It took me almost 20 minutes to locate the link to Terms of Service/Use. And from zone directory page only I got to know that they offer a affiliate program as well. They should seriously work on improving navigation. Second major problem I found with them is missing privacy policy. Though word “privacy policy” is mentioned at the bottom of each page, link is missing. For any such site, privacy policy is a must.
There are some other things to be improved like expanded faq, as it still lacks many questions unanswered. Well in conclusion, I would not recommend to go with it and wait, until they improve a bit. Maybe in due time, it emerges as a quality advertising service both, for publishers as well as advertisers.
