Hi,
well i do hide my links and dont want someone else to know if im promoting or if someone else is promoting my product.

I do it with 2 ways.
1st way:
Create a directory and put a file which redirects to that affiliate site. Then i give the link to the directory, for example: www.projectundergroundriches/*something*
which would redirect to nspeak.com

2nd way:
I buy a domain and rediect it to the affiliate site.
So if i bought a domain called *something*.com
the user that types in browser that adress will be redirected to *something_else*.com

I don't hide affiliate links for the reason you're alluding to. I "hide" them simply because I track my clicks on different links to track the success of the post at getting clicks, taking action.

I use GoTryThis to convert all my affiliate links.

If I was promoting Traffic Geyser then my converted link would look like:

jackhumphrey.com/trafficgeyser (not an active link, of course)

This is not an effort to hide anything. Everyone on my site knows I make a living from it and they respect that as long as I respect them and only point them to things I've reviewed and would put my name behind.

Jack Humphrey's last blog post..Use Pressure To Prevent Procrastination

I have a few websites, and usually I show them. However, I also own a website where I sell designer goods, and I need that site to look clean, so no, no link on that one!

Good question! On my main money earning websites I do not hide my affiliate links. On the contrary, telling the world that you do not s ell anything can be turned into a positive advertising benefit. Providing visitors with something that is useful will get them to stick around and if you do something like price comparison or link to reputable suppliers then hiding links is just a waste of time and effort.
