Recently Bidvertiser launched Ads for Feeds under their network. It was a excellent news for bloggers and webmasters to monetize their feeds as two most popular feed advertising networks were not open for all(Google Adsense for Feeds and Feedburner Ad Network). But Bidvertiser Ads for Feeds has a shortcoming. It makes a new feed url which will contain ads instead of embedding ads in existing feed address. It becomes a lot difficult to redirect visitors to a new feed address more so for blogs having large readership. Since many people are on Feedburner they thought of not using this.
Well I found a simple way to integrate the two. Before using my method, you will have to stop using FeedSmith Feedburner plugin because it can cause a problem.(Try my this method so even auto detect points to feedburner feed)
When you create a new ad for feeds under Bidvertiser, put source feed as http://yoursite.com/feed/ (default feed url of wordpress or use default feed of your software/site)
And now under feedburner account, replace source feed with bidvertiser feed url.
You are done now….you have access to all feedburner tools plus ads from bidvertiser. Enjoy! :mrgreen:
Wow, your feed looks great! Not intrusive at all. How did you get adsense in there and why does it show up randomly? There’s just one thing. I looked at my wordpress template and it refers to RSS_URL in the header.php, but where can I set that because I see your feed directly links to the feedburner feed.
That is not Adsense ad but Bidvertiser Ads using the tip above.

Great post but adsense stillseems number 1 .
All works, in theory, just as you describe. Unfortunately, it’s not as appealing in practice. I have several blogs, some with not bad numbers of subscribers and reasonable, if not earth shattering earnings from other ads on site, so I tested this on my feeds. Sadly, I don’t think Bidvertiser has the advertisers to make this viable yet, as the ads were not really relevant (even on well defined posts) and the consequent earnings (all of 44 cents) at the end of a couple of weeks testing, gives me only one reaction. I’m removing them.
I want to know how to put inline miva ads in wordpress.
