Strange looking title on a blog about blogging? Well I am proud to be a Indian and the fact that this is the biggest moment for India and its Automotive industry, I couldn’t resist posting about this.
One of the Largest Commercial vehicle makers in India on Thursday launched Tata NANO - World’s Cheapest car priced at only Rs 100,000($2500). Using innovative techniques of cost cutting and superior engineering Tata made this possible despite rising costs of raw materials like Iron, Steel and other metals and equipements.

Quiz master is right. Pollution will be the other problem. I think sales of this car will do well, especially in Asia.

this is a cute car - but not sure it’s safe though
practical to use in cities..

I heard its expected to be hugh succes in big cities…. I think so to..

I wonder how safe it will be due to the cheap price?
[Reply]
It might be the best price, but it looks like a death trap. I wouldn’t risk my life in it.

This car may be cheap but it certainly does not have any good safety precautions. I would rather buy a more expensive car to protect my family…

my sister’s friend has already signed up for a tata nano. she will be gettng one of those first tata nano’s to leave the factory
this is THE car for college students. Cant wait to wait to get my hands on one of these

I wish someone could provide a $2500 car for US and UK markets - sadly the nano will not meet safety targets.

Chisene car manufacturers copy 100K $ cars for 10k $ so I haven’t surprised:)
[Reply]
They won’t be able to sell in some european countries because it dosen’t meet safety regulations, so they will have to ugrade these for some markets thus taking the price much higher
