WidgetBucks Introduced Deleted Widgets and Detailed Referral Fees recently. Also MyBucks page has been updated with October earnings. But instead that publishers get happy about this, people are terming widgetbucks as scam and becoming too much skeptical about it. Here are few reasons for this behaviour
- Suddently country list at signup page and mysettings contain only US and Canada. Means, people signed up earlier on WidgetBucks can’t receive payments via Check atleast. Can’t say about Paypal. Also Most of shopping sites send to US only, so they should have decided about this issue earlier.
- CPCs dropped too much atleast for me.
- Lots of publishers got banned for having non english sites. But if site is receiving considerable US Traffic, then where’s the problem?
- People who spend on advertising their referral url, are losing due to wide bans of publisher accounts.
- Some publishers earning 1000s are getting banned for fraud clicks reason, when they never clicked themselves. Such publishers are performing too well at other ad networks reportedly. So they probably reasoned whether widgetbucks is afraid of high performing publishers.
- WidgetBucks support hardly answers mails.
- WidgetBucks stats don’t match at all with Awstats and Google Analytics Stats.
All these things are reported on the blogoshphere and DP forums. I am not claiming that these are definitely true or false. But I would like WidgetBucks to come up with reasonable explanation for all changes happening instead of not even answering people’s comments at their last blog post.
Sometimes I wonder, why did they hosted their blog at BlogSpot?
I have not used my WidgetBucks Referral url here, post content did not justified it. :roll:
I am still waiting for December, when they actually have to pay users. What do you think about WidgetBucks? Would you continue using it or leave it?
I think on the right blog, it can be good. I like it better on product blogs than no information blogs personally.
