Day by Day Posting or One Day Posting on Blogs?

I have seen some recent bloggers saying that they write all their posts for 1 week on a single day and then schedule it for to appear on the coming week. Is this method better than day by day posting?

For me answer is no. Why? Because by the time the post appears to the user, it gets outdated. For example, Contest Blogger’s Top 23 Ultimate Contest Blogs post when published had outdated alexa rankings of my contest blog. I don’t know about others, but my contest blog’s alexa rank was different that from at the time when post appeared.

Second reason, for example, you are annoucing a new product which launched just now. You have scheduled it means others will get chance to blog about it earlier and cash in on the buzz. And you will get left behind.

So what I suggest is to write posts atleast every 2 days if not daily but do keep your blog and blog posts updated. Otherwise you may get lost in the melee. It did happen when I posted too late about Blogrush and not even posted about DealDotCom.

Accepting with the views of author that having regular posts is better than bulk posts one day.

This improves visibility and better curling by search engines and scope for better rss subscriptions.

    Good post.

i guess it depends. writing posts for a week is a good idea, just make sure the posts will still have value the following days. of course, announcements and breaking news should be posted on the day. articles and tips and stuff like that can be spread thru out the week.

I agree with posting every two days-ish. Day by day could be better, but I couldn’t keep up with enough quality posts.

Personally I feel both works… If you post day by day that would also help you to make new Visitors a reguler visitor, where as in my case with ChotoCheeta.com I saw that even I have many posts but they were made in intervel of few long days, but still via Search Engines I am getting quite a few Hits !!!
